Bernadette Mansur died on February 23 in Naples, Florida, She was 75.
Mansur spent over 20 years in leadership roles at the National Hockey League, joining them in 1993. She served as group vice president communications and retired in 2014 as executive director of the NHL foundation.
Born in New York City, she graduated from Newton College of the Sacred Heart in 1968 and earned a master’s degree from Columbia University. In 1984, she married Michael Mansur.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Mansur; and her sister, Regina Kelly. She is survived by her two stepdaughters, Mary-Michael Rodgers and Molly Mansur Dufne; son-in-law Matthew Dufner; her two granddaughters, Megan and Layla; two nephews, John Paul Kelly and Donald Kelly.
A funeral Mass will be held to honor both Bernadette and Michael Mansur at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
