Claudia Luttmann Dies January 12

Claudia F. Luttmann

Former Sag Harbor resident Claudia F. Luttmann died on Saturday, January 12, at the Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville, New York. She was 91.

Born on June 2, 1921, in Long Island City, she moved with her family to central New York in 1967. She was a resident of Liverpool, New York, for 40 years and retired from CNA Insurance.

Ms. Luttmann was predeceased by her husband, George L. Luttmann Sr., in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Adele Clark of Liverpool; a son, George L. Luttmann Jr. of Liverpool; a granddaughter, Christine Newbold of England; and a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Newbold of England; a sister, Ruth Weydig of Verona, New York; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Syracuse on January 15. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Sag Harbor. Memorial donations may be made to the church, 140 Swansea Drive, Syracuse, NY 13206.

Local arrangements were under the direction of the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor.
