Enthusiastic readers and gamers of all ages gathered under and outside the Big Tent on Sunday afternoon in Herrick Park to meet and greet authors of the best of children's books, and to enjoy some carnival-style fun. The East Hampton Library's annual Free Children's Fair offered inflatable bouncy houses, slides, toss games and more. Dreesen's Doughnuts, BuddhaBerry ice cold treats and other free food and drinks were available. Keith Leaf and Lori Hubbard provided the live entertainment. RICHARD LEWIN
