Connie was born in Brooklyn in 1917.

She started her working career at the 1939 New York World’s Fair as the original Phillip Morris girl. After working in the hotel industry in Miami for some years, she returned to New York. On weekends, Ms. Jessup and a friend would go to the Hamptons to visit friends. She was introduced to her future husband, Leslie C. Jessup, and they were married in 1952.

Ms. Jessup went to own a refreshment stand at Pike’s Beach in Westhampton, and was a salesperson for Rogers Realty until her retirement in 1988. After moving to Florida, she became involved in various charities and community events. In her later years, friends would stop by for advice and stories of old.
