With a simple commitment to community service, people freely serve as EMTs, firefighters, in schools and churches, Little Leagues, beautification and historical societies, fraternal and business organizations, and neighborhood food pantries. I see no reason to think the village would not attract a large number of dedicated residents, with particular skill sets and talents, who would welcome the opportunity to be part of small government dedicated to preserving our unique sense of character and place.
