Eileen Krombach Dies At 89

Eileen T. Krombach

Eileen T. Krombach (nèe Brady) of Hampton Bays and formerly of Valley Stream died at Stony Brook University Hospital on Wednesday, September 14. She was 89.

Ms. Kromback is survived by children, Susan Ateya and her husband Tony of Pittsford, Kathleen Costello and her husband Jerry of Islip, Eileen Lang of Maine, Nancy Som and her husband Dave Sutschek of Hampton Bays; former daughter-in-law, Connie of Islip Terrace; grandchildren, Dan, Colleen, Meaghan, Caitlin, Michele, Cori, Bob, Brian, Jessica and Bob; and great-grandchildren Norah, Lucas and Cassidy. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Edward; and her son Bob Krombach.

Visiting hours were held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, with a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass took place at St. Rosalie’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 17. Interment followed in Good Ground Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, cff.org, would be appreciated by the family.

The person stated to Westhampton Beach Village Police that the postcard had disturbing and false information regarding a finch bird.
