Eileen Mary Cleary Of Hampton Bays Dies November 9

Eileen Mary Cleary of Hampton Bays died on November 9 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. She was 88.

Ms. Cleary was an administrative assistant for the law office of Cooper and Leybrand of New York City. She belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America and the Church of St. Rosalie in Hampton Bays.

Ms. Cleary is survived by a nephew, Matthew Daly, and wife Laurie of Mattituck; a niece, Mary Beth Somma and husband Leo of Hampton Bays; great-nephews, Matthew and Michael Somma and Connor Daly; and great-nieces, Mackenzie and Meghan Daly. She is also survived by three sisters, Rose Ann Daly of Hampton Bays and Elizabeth Mahon and Mary Pellecchia, both of New Jersey.

A funeral mass was held at St. Rosalie’s on November 13. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn, alongside her husband, Gerard.
