Elizabeth 'Bessie' Croke Of Southampton Dies June 10

Elizabeth “Bessie” Croke of Southampton died on June 10 at the Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton. She was 93.

A lifelong resident of Southampton, she lived on Layton Avenue.

Predeceased by her husband, Martin, and sisters, Marion Cerveny and Margaret Cituk, she is survived by a daughter, Mary Kirst and husband Fred of Southampton, a son, Martin, of Flanders; three grandsons, Michael, David and wife Kim, and Andrew Kirst; and a great-granddaughter, Katie.

A funeral Mass was observed at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton on June 13.
