Eric P. Andersen Of New York City Dies July 25

Eric P. Andersen of New York City died, of cancer, at the Hampton Bays home of his mother on July 25. He was 59.

Mr. Andersen was a self-employed carpenter in the New York City area.

Predeceased by his father, Lloyd L. Andersen, he is survived by his mother, Mildred (Svoboda) Andersen; a brother, Mark D. Andersen of Virginia; and a sister, Nancy L. Himmelsbach and husband Mark of Hampton Bays. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Lily, Jessi, Maya and Luke Himmelsbach, and Zachary and Erica Andersen.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, at 11 a.m. at the Hampton Bays United Methodist Church; the Reverend Lillian Hertel will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hampton Bays United Methodist Church’s steeple fund, 158 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, NY 11946.
