A Riverhead man was arrested Thursday morning in connection with an assault at the Suffolk County bus stop at the traffic circle in Riverside after Southampton Town Police said that an argument over wearing a protective face covering became physical. Ernest Ryshaun Clay, 43, of Riverhead was arrested at about 9:45 a.m. and charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor, police said.
