Joseph McLoughlin was one of my super-amazing students. I am not a Southampton Village resident, but I was for many years a middle school and high school teacher at Southampton Public Schools. So I can’t vote, but I just had to interject my thoughts about his value to the community and about Joseph and his candidacy for village trustee.
When Joseph was a student of mine throughout middle and high school, I always found him to be a dedicated and focused student with winning attributes, such as honesty, integrity and a great sense of humo, despite all the obstacles and challenges he faced and that we all encounter during adolescent life.
His positive attitude and awesome personality made him popular. He worked hard in school, and I found him to be brave and strong and always going the extra mile to achieve his dreams and goals. And he always did his homework.
I am absolutely confident that Joseph is a great candidate and a person you would be proud of to fill the shoes of a Southampton Village trustee. The skills and experience that he possesses would be an asset and help get the job done.
