He Really Cares

Elections are always a tough decision. Whose hands and minds do we put the welfare of our village into? It must be someone we can trust to do the very best job for everyone. Should it be a person who is vested in the community? Who are these people anyway? How could anyone know everyone? I know people rely heavily on the newspaper right before the election to lay it all out for them.

I’ve known Zach Epley for quite some time. One might say I watched him grow up. He has always been the type of person who cares and is willing to work hard, and it shows. He has done so much for such a young person. All with a pleasant attitude and in the honesty of helping.

He coached varsity baseball at the high school, he is a member of the Southampton Village Volunteer Fire Department, a Board Member of Southampton Youth Services, a trustee at the Southampton History Museum, a board member of ASEND (a nonprofit that does affordable housing), he served on the Southampton Village Planning Board, and he is an administrator at Seafield Center (a drug and alcohol abuse center).

Zach just doesn’t wish to make change and support our community — he does it.

Please go out on September 15, or check with Village Hall for an absentee ballot (do that soon, as there is a deadline) and vote for Zach Epley. He is young, energetic and really cares about our community.
