Jenny S. Riha Dies At 84

Jenny S. Riha

Jenny S. Riha of Bridgehampton died at Southampton Hospital on Friday, June 24, after a long illness. She was 84.

Ms. Riha is survived by her close nieces and nephew, Margaret Hant of Florida, Catherine Hand and Cynthia Smart of East Quogue, Barbara Lee Scibek of Patchogue, Elizabeth M. Ringold of Bellport, and William T. Scibek of Pennsylvania; and many distant nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph R. Riha.

The family received friends on Monday, June 27, at the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton, where a parish prayer service was conducted by Reverend Peter Devaraj. A funeral Mass was conducted by Reverend Davaraj on Tuesday, June 28, at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Bridgehampton. Interment followed at the Most Holy Trinity Cemetery in East Hampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Bridgehampton Fire Department and Ambulance Company, P.O. Box 1280, Bridgehampton, NY 11932, would be appreciated by the family.
