Karin Nilsen-Parry, affectionately known as “Nussa,” and formerly of Sag Harbor, died on January 25. She was 61.
Ms. Nilsen-Parry was born June 21, 1959 in Brooklyn. After graduating from Pierson High School, she married the love of her life, Scott Robert Parry.
Ms. Nilsen-Parry was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loved ones. Her recipes will be cherished and passed down for generations to come, her family said, notig that she was a woman who was full of laughter, heart, and character. The world will be a quieter and less vibrant place without her, they said.
She was predeceased by her husband Scott. Ms. Nilsen-Parry is survived by her two children, Scott K. Parry and his wife, Amanda of Medford, and Kimberly Parry of Sag Harbor; her grandson, Henry Parry; her brother, Karl Nilsen and his wife Jackie; her sister, Kristin Nilsen; and many nieces and nephews.
