Kurt R. Melinnis Of Eastport Dies March 25

Kurt R. Melinnis of Eastport died on March 25. He was 69.

Mr. Melinnis served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970, during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Cassandra; a son, Matthew Konkel; a daughter, Marcie Litjens; a brother, Kenneth Melinnis; and three grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Sinnicksons Moriches Funeral Home in Center Moriches. Final prayers were said at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

The person stated to Westhampton Beach Village Police that the postcard had disturbing and false information regarding a finch bird.
