Let’s Be Positive

One of the things I look forward to each Thursday morning is sitting at Sip’n Soda and reading The Southampton Press. I find out what is going on in the world and what is happening in my small town and village. I also look forward to the many editorial news clips and letters to the editor.

It has been bothering me for a long time that our leaders can’t stop calling names or be positive and not combative and accomplish things that we all need — healthcare, housing, lower taxes and much more.

Now in our village, we have a lawyer who has sued our village and has never won, complains about the height of the houses since they started building two-story homes on which her house on Rosko was the tallest and now it is not. Why can’t she just be positive and try to accomplish what we all need? What is most important to all of us, the environment, Lake Agawan, the village, local businesses, our schools, and housing. Let’s try to be positive to support our trustees, as well as the mayor.
