Margaret Rogers
Margaret Rogers of Hampton Bays died at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson on October 11. She was 39.
Ms. Rogers worked as a pool cleaner for Next Generation Pools in Hampton Bays.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Rogers of Hampton Bays; and her companion, Robert McConnell of Hampton Bays; her mother, Catherine, and stepfather, Jack Sabotka, of South Jamesport; and her grandmother, Patricia Rogers. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Theresa and Paul Warner, Eddie and Jan Rogers, Laura Hayford, Shirley and Randall Williamson, and Ginger and Bob Melfi; her great-uncle, Frank “Babe” Rogers; and great-aunts, Dot Rogers, Alice Danowski and Shirley Seladones.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, John Joseph Rogers.
The Reverend George Mangan of the United Methodist Church of Hampton Bays conducted a graveside service at the family grave in Oakwood Cemetery in East Quogue on Tuesday, October 16. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays.
