Marie Theresea Docekal Dies August 6

Marie Theresea Docekal

Marie Theresea Docekal of Hampton Bays, formerly of Sag Harbor, died on August 6 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson. She was 57.

Ms. Docekal was a graduate of Berkeley College and worked as a private tutor to children with learning disabilities.

She is survived by two brothers, Wiliam Docekal of Virginia and Paul Docekal of Atlanta; three sisters, Eileen Docekal of Canada, Patricia Docekal of California, and Joanne Taylor of Hampton Bays; as well as 10 nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A memorial Mass was held on Tuesday, August 14, at the Church of St. Rosalie, also in Hampton Bays.
