Nancy Penski, Formerly Of Southampton Dies October 9

Nancy Penski of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Southampton, died on Thursday, October 9, 2017, at her home. She was 50.

Ms. Penski earned a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra Univesity and was employed as a corporate accountat with Infinite Energy in Gainesville, Florida.

Predeceased by her parents, R. Peter Phillips and Nancy DePetris, both of Southampton, she is survived by her husband, Andrew; daughter Kelsey; two brothers, Peter A. Phillips and Stephen F. Phillips; a sister, Anne Casey; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Roberts Funeral home in Dunnellon, Florida. A funeral Mass was held on October 24 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala. A memorial service in Southampton will be held at a later date.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
