Not On Main Street

I would like someone from the Sag Harbor Village government to detail the kind of signage necessary to implement the paid parking proposal for the village. I have looked over the plans, and there is no mention of signage, and/or meters, which will surely be necessary.

Besides being a burden for small shop owners at this already stressful time, and entirely out of character for Sag Harbor, this proposal is surely going to make Main Street more cluttered and impair its visual charm. Paid parking on Long Wharf seemed a good idea, and less obtrusive.

I suggest, if the village needs funds for infrastructure costs, that a bond or a proposition be used.
