Patrick J. Barry of Water Mill Dies June 12

Patrick J. BarryPatrick J. Barry of Water Mill died June 12 at the Long Island State Veterans Home at Stony Brook University. He was 88.

Born on June 1, 1925, to Patrick Barry and Anne Coleman, he was the youngest of five sisters and one brother. Survivors said he loved his family, the ocean and a good laugh.

Mr. Barry is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including many who live on the East End: Thomas Barry Connor, Kevin Barry Connor, James Connor, Colin Barry Connor, Robert Barry Roden, Susie Barry Roden, Abby Barry Roden, Thomas Barry and Toby Tucker Peters.

Memorial donations may be made to the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital, www.cwcshh.org, 240 Meeting House Lane, Southampton, NY 11968.

Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton.

The person stated to Westhampton Beach Village Police that the postcard had disturbing and false information regarding a finch bird.
