Paula Miller Pearsall
Paula Miller Pearsall of Jacksonville, Florida, and Bridgehampton died on February 12. She was 86.
Born in Brooklyn, she grew up in Flushing and graduated from Adelphi University in Garden City, where she was an active member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Her professional endeavors included several years with New England Telephone Company in Boston and with Southern Bell Telephone in Jacksonville. She later enjoyed her work as a teacher at Love Grove Elementary School in Jacksonville. Throughout her life, she enjoyed summers spent in Bridgehampton with family and friends.
A loving and dedicated mother, she is survived by her son, Willard Pearsall; and daughters, Marilla Pearsall and Katharine Pearsall and her husband John-Fiske Smith; a brother-in-law, Otis Pearsall and his wife Nancy; a nephew, Gilbert Pearsall and his wife Kathleen; a niece Melissa Hirsch and her husband Scott, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by numerous cousins including East End residents Walter Miller and wife Joan, Robin Perez and husband Tom, and Eric Woodward and wife Hilary. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Willard Pearsall, Jr.; and her parents, Paul and Mary Ellen Miller.
A family service will be held in the spring at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.
