Pay A Big Price

Below is text from an email from the Zeldin for Congress website that hit my inbox at 1:50 in the afternoon last Wednesday, just as thugs were attacking our nation’s Capitol building:

“After witnessing the many confirmed, evidence-filled issues with the 2020 presidential election in certain battleground states, including rogue election officials, secretaries of states, and courts rewriting and usurping state laws and constitutions, I’ve signed off on objections for key battleground states.

“Today, as Congress considers the certification of the election, I’m leading the charge to voice the objections and the valid, fact-based concerns you and I share.

“Will you join me by adding your name RIGHT NOW to stand with me today and protect election integrity?”

Like many of the 100-plus representatives who helped “lead the charge,” Zeldin viewed this as a great opportunity to stay on Trump’s good side and raise money at the same time, all while helping to incite the emotions that lead to disgraceful and unlawful, seditious actions by hundreds of Americans.

Zeldin and the others need to hear from their constituents, and they need to pay a big price for their words and actions, starting long before the next election. At the very least, he should be disbarred from practicing as an attorney, and a recall effort should be considered.
