Peggy Finelli Dies At 89

Peggy Finelli

Peggy Finelli of Hampton Bays died in Framingham, Massachusetts, on December 10. She was 89.

Born in Mount Vernon on December 20, 1921, she spent her early working years as a studio manager for several well-known New York photographers while also freelancing as a stylist in both print and film.

In 1958 she married Pat Finelli and ran his photography studio in Manhattan. After his death in 1970, she moved to Hampton Bays permanently. She was a volunteer at Southampton Hospital and then the office manager for James H. Rambo Inc. in Southampton. She retired in 1999, after 20 years with the company.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Finelli Raynor and her husband Dennis of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Patrick and Allison; and nieces and nephews, Katherine Winter, Lisa Nicholls and William Stoops.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Southampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72202, would be appreciated by the family.
