Regarding the article “Broad Based Advisory Committee Begins To Weigh Stony Brook Southampton’s Future” [27east.com, August 14]: I am indeed encouraged that there finally seems to be serious discussion taking place concerning the future of my beloved alma mater.
I read that there are 45 members of the advisory committee. However, in my opinion, one group was not listed, the one that has had the most history with the campus: the estimated 10,000 Southampton College alumni. Would love to see the committee include this relevant group in their representation.
