Robert Bruce Brougham, known as Bruce, died peacefully at his home in Bridgehampton on February 14. He was 88.
He was a graduate of the Lawrenceville School and Brown University. A talented athlete, he was also a longtime member of the choir at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church and the Bridgehampton Club.
He retired from JPMorgan Chase as a managing director.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Brougham; his son Christopher Brougham, both of Bridgehampton; and by his sister Judith Bates; niece Elizabeth Bates Andersen; and nephews William Bates, Mark Anthony and Steve Anthony.
