Robert James Finegan dies at 85

Robert James Finegan, a former resident of East Norwich, died on February 23 in Salisbury, Maryland. He was 85.

Mr. Finegan served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1947.

He is survived by a son, Brian Finegan of Remsenburg; and two grandchildren, Brendan and Bridget Finegan.

He was predeceased by his wife, Nora Finegan.

The family received visitors on February 26 at Sinnicksons Moriches Funeral Home in Center Moriches. Funeral services followed at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Center Moriches. Interment with military honors followed at Calverton National Cemetery.

The person stated to Westhampton Beach Village Police that the postcard had disturbing and false information regarding a finch bird.
