Visitors to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital's open house at the Southampton Arts Center were able to use the Da Vinci Surgical System themselves, moving small rubber rings inside a simulated body cavity and show how the robotic fingers are helping doctors perform precision operations more delicately.

The hospital staff provided free health screenings, massages and cholesterol tests to visitors at the Southampton Arts Center on Monday, July 14, and showcased the various services the hospital has to offer patients and the latest in technological advancements  it is using to improve care.
