Lisa Polhemus St. John died at her home in Redding, Connecticut, on July 30, surrounded by her children. She was 90.
Born in New York City to Henry M. and Lisa Polhemus, she graduated from the Chapin School, class of 1941. Married to Fordyce Barker St. John Jr., who predeceased her, she moved with her family to New Canaan, Connecticut, in 1964. She was a lifelong summer resident of Sagaponack, and a member of the Bridgehampton Club since 1947.
Ms. St. John was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, survivors said. An avid animal lover, she raised and showed German shepherd dogs.
She is survived by three children, John and wife Megan St. John, Susan St. John; Elizabeth and husband Chris Abelt; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
