Salvatore Joseph Golfo of Quogue died on February 18. He was 66.
Mr. Golfo was born in Sicily, raised in the Bronx, and lived on Long Island since his teens. Proprietor of Golfo Contracting in Quogue, his handiwork enriched countless homes on the East End. Survivors said he was known for his “boundless spirit of self-giving and generosity.”
He is survived by his wife, Mary Susan; three children, Nicolle Guzman, Gina Presutti and Bianca Hebberd; and grandchildren, Joseph, Sofia, Noah, Christian, Gabriel, Matthew, Nicholas, Luca, Harry, Daniela, Benjamin and Salvatore.
A wake was held on Wednesday, February 24, at Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 25, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Quiogue.
