This is a response to a Letter to the Editor in the January 12 East Hampton Press, titled “Bad Decision.” I have to agree with what seems like a blatant disregard for the facts and research written about by Susan Harder.
She is at times the only one on the East End cheering for a brighter future (with sensible lighting). As she explained how these decisions affect the environment, our health and wildlife, it seems like a win-win to go with the solution suggested. It seems the plan accepted is short-sighted with far-reaching damage for future generations.
Very sad for the East End.
