On Pond Lane in Southampton Village, our remarkable community came together in November in an inspiring and uplifting way. Members of the Southampton Artists Association had their creativity and compassion on display at their second annual fundraiser art exhibit for Heart of the Hamptons — 96 works of art sold, raising funds for those in need at this particularly fragile time.
What made this effort special was not only the talent displayed but the spirit and generosity behind it from artists and visitors. Southampton Artist Association members dedicated hours to planning, collecting and hanging 171 works of art, setting up, getting the word out and welcoming the generous attendees.
To everyone who contributed in any way, a very big thank you. A special shout out goes to Molly Bishop and Robin Prieto of Heart of the Hamptons, Fisher Signs, Golden Pear, Hampton Coffee and Beach Bakery & Grand Cafe in Westhampton.
The show reminds us of what is possible when a community stands together.
