Tears Of Rage

A thank you to Tim Motz for his column on Bob Dylan’s selling of his intellectual properties [“The ‘New And Improved’ Dylan Songbook,” Stories from the South Fork, Opinion, December 24].

Although, of course, Dylan had every right to do so, Tim neatly captured the disappointment of generations who were motivated by the idealism in his lyrics.

As I watched my tattered T-shirt that had read “At Least Dylan Never Sold Out” ignite in the fireplace, I caught a whiff of baking humble pie.
