Teresa B. Warner
Teresa B. Warner of Hampton Bays died at home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, September 2. She was 87.
Known as “Terry,” Ms. Warner was born in Babylon and attended St. Joseph’s High School and the New York Institute of Dietetics. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hand Aldrich American Legion in Hampton Bays and was married to Edward J. Warner Sr. for 49 years.
She is survived by her children, Edward J. Warner Jr. and his wife Kathleen, Merry Warner, and J. Vincent Warner and his wife Cindy; grandchildren, Sara T. Grube, Meghan R. Warner and Daniel E. Warner; her brother Joseph and his wife Peggy.
A parish prayer service was held on Wednesday, September 7, at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. That evening the Ladies Auxiliary held a service at the funeral home, which members of the Hampton Bays Fire Department attended to pay their respects to the wife of a longtime fire commissioner. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rosalie’s Roman Catholic Church in Hampton Bays. Interment will follow at Good Ground Cemetery, next to her husband.
