The Villa at Westhampton, an assisted living facility with 100 residents, was sold at auction on Tuesday for $20.7 million. The only bid was submitted by Mooring Financial Corporation, who bought out the loan on the building in 2022. A Mooring executive has said that the company plans to keep ownership of the facility and continue to have it run by the upstate company that operates it now. The owner of the neighboring Westhampton Care Center, Shlomo Boehm, far left, said that he would be interested in buying The Villa property, which shares a parking lot with WCC, if the price "makes sense."
