Trash Project

The proposed Liberty Gardens federal housing on County Road 39 engineering report by Nelson Pope Voorhis stated that this project will not result in an adverse traffic impact by residents turning left (westbound), crossing two lanes of traffic, at the heaviest intersection in the town. What was omitted in this report is: How will the traffic be diverted when the accidents occur?

In 2015, the Town of Southampton paid dearly for the County Road 39 Corridor Land Use Plan engineering report, which states that the same movements are most hazardous. We who travel this road daily know that traffic has not decreased since 2015.

Our elected officials need to trash this project.
