Turn Out The Lights

This has been the International Dark Sky Week, in which we celebrate our beautiful night sky by turning off unnecessary night lighting and step out and look up at our star-filled night sky. We can lose this beautiful natural resource by leaving outdoor lights on when we are not using them.

As well, check the “Kelvin” on LED packaging. Use 2700 Kelvin or less, per the International Dark Sky Association recommendations to reduce the percentage of blue light waves. Blue light creates more skyglow, damages our eyesight and affects our hormone levels.
