Virginia M. Knapp Of Remsenburg Dies March 18

Virginia M. Knapp of Remsenburg and Vero Beach, Florida, died of natural causes on March 18, 2017, at her home in Vero Beach, Florida.

She is survived by her two sons, Justin Weisenbacher of Jupiter, Florida, and Russell Weisenbacher of East Quogue; seven stepchildren, Jane Whelan, Gideon Knapp, Sheppard Knapp, Jonathan Knapp, Margie Knapp, Jessie Knapp-Mendelsohn and David Schmidt, and their spouses and families.

A small private service for the family will be held at John’s Island Cemetery in Florida. A memorial service is being planned for June.

Memorial donations may be made to East End Hospice, eeh.org; Planned Parenthood Federation of America, plannedparenthood.org; and/or the Quogue Library, Box 5036, Quogue NY 11959.
