Today, in the most beautiful place on earth, Suffolk County District 1, we have a problem. The world, the country and the anger from both sides is prevalent at the grocery store, in the bank and, saddest, in our schools.
To some degree, isn’t this what democracy looks like? Isn’t this what we fought and fight for? That we all have the right to voice our opinions?
Yes. And no.
We can do this.
We can make the differences we want to make — we can save the environment, care for our neighbors and continue to prosper from the affluence of our pocket of the world.
