President Joe Biden was determined to stay on the job and finish the work he started as more of his party faithful were prodding him to step down. Just this past June, the Democratic National Committee, the liberal media and Biden’s doctor declared the president was fit as a fiddle. On July 21, these same folks all decided his brain had turned to porridge. This, of course, was long ago obvious to half of the nation before Biden’s handlers abandoned its years-long charade.

Bleak were the alternatives; the DNC was considering not renewing Vice President Kamala Harris’s seat on the party platform because of her dismal record. The media concurred; so, what could the DNC do?

A media blitz was ordered to preserve our democracy, and suddenly the press pivoted into adoring adulation. Harris emerged from her chrysalis as the beautiful butterfly, spreading her wings in a new, glorious, autogenous campaign of “joy” to prevent the spread of fascism and maintain our national imperative of freedom. Only scripted speeches are now allowed, and no public media Q&As are on the horizon in order to prevent her penchant for word salad non sequitur. A remarkable resurrection from the ashes of mediocrity.

So, how, exactly, does the DNC deal with fascism? By default, almost all words of disagreement are deemed misinformation, and whoever disagrees with the party narrative is automatically presumed a right-wing extremist steeped in fascist ideology. To disagree is to have alternate facts, and therefore you must be a fascist. It’s a simple formula, and the party “sheeple” lap it up like nectar to a hummingbird.

Observe how they treated one of their own, former liberal media darling Tulsi Gabbard, who defected from the Democratic Party in 2022. Gabbard is a lieutenant colonel in the National Guard, a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal and Combat Medical Badge, and served a 12-month tour of duty in Iraq, among other deployments.

She is now being rewarded for her service with a TSA travel designation reserved for terrorists, specifically terrorists likely to be carrying explosives. Because of this harassment by Secondary Security Screening Selection, every time she and her husband wish to board a flight they are dragged aside, scrutinized and subject to all manner of indignities before being allowed on a plane that will be required to carry air marshal agents.

This is how the DNC and their bureaucratic henchman protect democracy. Gabbard was 100 percent correct when she called Adam Schiff a “domestic terrorist” for undermining our Constitution by attempting “to take away our civil liberties and rights.”

This is the epitome of an authoritarian state perpetrated by the very party claiming to preserve our democracy.
