Winifred Peckham Miller Dies At 68

Winifred Peckham Miller

Winifred Peckham Miller of North Carolina and formerly of Southampton died at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in North Carolina on Sunday, August 21, after a 12-year battle with breast cancer. She was 68.

Ms. Miller was born August 5, 1943, in Southampton to Robert and Lucia Peckham, and was the youngest of three siblings, Robert Peckham Jr., Sylvia Sweeney, and Barbara Ericson, all of whom survive her.

She will be especially remembered for her continued strength, unselfish heart, and compassion towards others, family said.

She is survived by her husband Elias Miller; daughters, Kimberly McDonald and Deborah Miller; eight stepchildren, 18 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
