The former Goldman Sachs partner Jonathan Sobel is asking $43 million for a Bridgehampton compound.

At 207 and 217 Highland Terrace, the estate consists of almost 5 acres, with frontage on Sagg Pond, according to the listing with Corcoran, which describes the offering as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Behind the developed 3 waterfront acres is an undeveloped lot of 1.8 acres “with room for another 10,000-square-foot home, plus pool, pool house and tennis, should you want a dream compound at $43 million,” Corcoran notes. If you don’t, the house and 3 acres alone can be had for $35 million.

In 2012, Mr. Sobel bought the former Rogers Memorial Library building—then owned by the Parrish Art Museum—on Jobs Lane in Southampton for $2.875 million. He also owns the BMW, Mini, Audi and Porsche dealerships on County Road 39 in Southampton.
