About 1,200 walkers and cyclists are expected.

The Soldier Ride of the
Hamptons is a fundraising event dedicated to Lance Corporal Jordan C. Haerter, who was killed in Iraq in 2008. Mr. Haerter was a resident of Sag Harbor.
