Hampton Hopper Returns With Expanded Service

Jun 26, 2018 11:19 AM

Hampton Hopper will return for the summer season with its regular Montauk Loop service and an expanded Inter-Town Loop service, both active starting Thursday, June 28, through Labor Day.

The Montauk Loop will provide riders with service to Hither Hills State Park campgrounds, the Montauk Train Station, Montauk Harbor and the downtown area between the hours of 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. seven days a week. As with last year, the service is free with funding by grants from New York State and the Town of East Hampton.

Hampton Hopper will also reinstate its Inter-Town Loop with expanded service to Hampton Bays. The inter-town bus will provide riders with service between Hampton Bays and Montauk stopping at the villages of Southampton, Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Amagansett and Montauk. Fee for the Inter-Town Loop is $5 per ride.

Maps and timetables, with links to the Hampton Hopper mobile app, are available at hamptonhopper.com.
