What a difference a year makes. In last winter’s columns, I impatiently counted down the days until spring and, this year, spring’s arrival almost surprised me. And, as I meandered my garden paths on Sunday afternoon, a black swallowtail butterfly and an unidentifiable “friend” amazed me with their tentative flights of fancy.
I am so excited for our hamlet that I cannot wait to share this with you! The Beachside Bagel Café will be opening on Monday, April 2, on Main Street. Along with super-delicious bagels, breakfast treats will run the gamut from French toast and pancakes to scrambled eggs and omelets. Lunch will feature wraps and hot paninis, as well as traditional sandwiches.
