Hampton Bays Native Earns “Ultimate” Honor

“As one of his ‘non-Frisbee’ friends, I watched people treat him like a legend in his sport whenever I was with him,” Luss continued. “He was like Ultimate Frisbee royalty.”

For his part, Warsen said that being inducted into the hall of fame was a great feeling after a lifetime of dedicating himself to the sport. “For 18 years, 
I dedicated myself singularly to being great at something, 
and I didn’t have to step on anyone to do it, just jump over them,” he said. “So getting into the USA Ultimate Hall of Fame means that someone must have noticed, and that feels really good.

“The Ultimate Hall of Fame is not just a list of players, it is the history of a beautiful game,” Warsen continued. “And I am honored to be a part of that history.”
