Labor Day Weekend has ended, which means that students are now heading back to school. The Hampton Bays School District had its first day of classes on Tuesday, September 3, and most other local school districts begin on Wednesday. At the elementary school, parents hugged and kissed their children goodbye at the main entrance around 8:45 a.m., the same time that buses filled with students rolled in.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor.
