Henry Lawrence Kreymborg of Southampton died on February 6 at Southampton Hospital of complications from myelodysplastic syndrome. He was 72.
Born September 23, 1941, in Babylon, he was the son of Alfred Kreymborg and Lois Meise Kreymborg, both of whom predeceased him.
Mr. Kreymborg moved from Massapequa to North Sea at an early age and always called it “God’s country,” survivors said. He graduated from Southampton High School, the Academy of Aeronautics, and the New York Institute of Technology. He was a member of the North Sea Gun Club and looked forward to the annual hunting trip and fishing from his boat. He also was a former member of the North Sea Fire Department.
Mr. Kreymborg is survived by his wife, Patricia Salisbury Kreymborg; two children, John Kreymborg and wife Donna, Henry “Chip” Kreymborg and wife Elaine; two stepchildren, Michael Lissenden and Kerry Lewendoski and husband Paul; two brothers, Bruce Kreymborg and Steve Kreymborg; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on February 8 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton; the Rev. Peter Larsen officiated.
