There were no major surprises in Southampton Village’s uncontested election on Friday.
Trustee Kimberly Allan received 144 votes to win her first election as a board member appointed by village residents. Ms. Allan was appointed to Mayor Michael Irving’s seat to finish his term after he was elected to mayor last year.
Southampton Village Deputy Richard Yastrzemski earned a fifth 2-year term from the voters with 84 votes.
One of the more notable write-in candidates was Jesse Warren, who did not get elected to a seat on the board but collected 31 votes.
Southampton Village Justice Barbara Wilson will serve a fifth four-year term in Southampton Village Court after pulling in 162 votes. She is also a justice for the Town of Southampton.
