Jun 1, 2010 6:47 PM

Di Donna | Floyd

Christina Loran Floyd, 30, the daughter of Maria and Hall of Fame golfer Raymond Floyd, of Palm Beach, Florida and Southampton, married Emmanuel Di Donna, 38, the son of Pierrette Di Donna and the late Mr. Henri Di Donna of France on May 22. The ceremony, officiated by Ignacio Alcocer, took place at sunset on the beach at Maroma Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

A 1998 graduate from St. George’s School in Newport, Rhode Island, the bride earned a bachelor’s degree in art history and communications at Wake Forest University. Prior to running her own firm, Floyd Contemporary, she worked at Sotheby’s. She is currently pursuing a career as a contemporary art advisor. She is a junior chairman of the Animal Medical Center and a member of Young Friends of Guggenheim.

The bride wore a Carolina Herrera gown, the groom a white Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit. Guests were barefoot and all dressed in white. The bridesmaids were Cecilia de Sola Sonville, Kristy Clark and Cheryl Floyd. The groom’s best men were Stefano Boniello, Robert Floyd and Justin Waterman. The couple’s nieces Ella and Josie were the flower girls, and Oscar, the couple’s bichon frise, had the duty of ring bearer.

The groom holds a master’s degree from The Courtauld Institute in London, and is the worldwide vice chairman of impressionist and modern art at Sotheby’s, where he has worked for 16 years.

The couple met while working at Sotheby’s in 2006 and reside in New York City.
